George Stinney

About 70 years ago, in South Carolina, 14 year old, George Stinney was killed because he got blamed for killing 2 people. Now family members are saying that they want his name cleared but they know that they can't bring him back. George confessed to killing the girls. There was no evidence that he killed them or anything.  Within 10 minutes the jury convicted him to the death sentence. "be electrocuted, until your body be dead in accordance with law. And may God have mercy on your soul," that is what the court documents say. When they put him into the electric chair, they had to put books underneath him and be hind him because he was too small. He was wearing a mask, and the shack from the chair made that mask come off and his face was exposed to about 40 people who had come to watch him be killed.
